Takes part of the festival "Flamenco entre amigos" shearing and collaborating on the stage with the rest of the players like, Pepe Habichuela, Josemi Carmona, Diego Amador and Farruquito, this festival shows from the very antic flamenco to the newest tendencies, without loosing his essence.
Trough the Spanish Embassy in Mexico, He is selected to represent his country at the Euro Mexico 2005, playing 2 concerts at the University of Sonora and the National Center of Arts in Mexico D.F.
Concert of “18 Cuerdas” at the “Fundacion Canal” in Madrid with Pepe Habichuela, Josemi Carmona and Jaco Abel “tree different way of playing flamenco but coming from the same root”.
With Pablo Martin Caaminero, records the music for the “making of” “The Passion” by Mel Gibson and also a short move of 20 minutes called Las Hormigas (the Ants) by Justina Rodriguez.
He produces the first flamenco violin cd by Bernardo Parrilla and he is writing and working also in his own flamenco cd played all on electric guitar.

Arranges for two guitars and records the second one for the introduction of Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet for Grammy awarded Tomatito, to present in Sevilla the theater play “Madre Caballo” by Antonio Onetti.
He plays at the Boadilla Jazz Festival as main act with his trio (Pablo Martin- Bass and Moy Natenzon- Drums), heaving Jorge Pardo as a guest soloist.
Is invited to play with Pepe Habichuela and Josemi Carmona in Tito’s (Mojacar, Almeria) at the presentation of Pepe’s grandsons, Manuel and Miguel Carmona, tree generations of musicians in one performance.
He arranged, recorded, composed, produced and mixed the solo CD of Flavia N a work that meets the music of Africa, Brazil and Spain at his new recording studio in Madrid.
Tour in Catalunya with Jaco Abel trio +Jorge Pardo at the same time he does a master class at ESMUC (University of Music of Catalunya) and Casa de Cultura de Girona where he explains the music he performs through a thesis about “Pulse and harmony displacement in real time” an innovating concept developed by Jaco Abel that shows how to shift pulse and chords through Flamenco and African claves wile improvising.
Together with all his music activity he has started a record company (Gitano Cromatico Producciones) where he is editing a series of Cds related to Flamenco and modern Flamenco (Spanish Jazz), this label works in a cooperative way, among the artists involved in the making of the Cds.
He recorded in the Cd “Fragua Futura” for Nuevos Medios a work that represents the new generation of flamenco artists with international projection counting among others with: Manuel Parrilla, Diego de Morao, Estrella Morente, Montoyita, etc…
He went to Reunion Island (Madagascar) invited by the French government to teach a seminary at the National Conservatory about Flamenco-Fusion and Polyrhythm and also a tour with the virtuoso band of Meddy Gerville.
Jaco is living in Madrid, Spain where he did a new tour with Jose "el Frances" and his new CD, also recording one song in Laura Pausini's new CD.
He is also Producing, playing and doing several projects with: Jorge Pardo, Antonio Serrano, Pablo Martin, Gerardo Nuñez (Jazz España II), Barberia del Sur, Enrique y Estrella Morente, Tomatito, Ketama, etc…
He produced and recorded in his own studio in Madrid the record “Boa Voz” from Rio de Janeiro, a Copoeira traditional Brazilian music CD.
He joined the band La Barberia del Sur with 9 CDs on the market. His trio also gigged around Spain in Jazz festivals and clubs with Guillermo MacGill on drums (Chano Dominguez) and Pablo Martin on bass(Gerardo Nuñez).
Back from New York he plays as a guest soloist with the band Opoyeye at the Bimhius in Amsterdam, after that he plays with the well known pianist from Reunion island (Madagascar), in Barcelona, Meddy Gerville.
He did a tour around Spain of about 40 concerts for big audiences (50.000 to 150.000 people) with Jose “el Frances”
Guest soloist with Benjamin Herman and Larry Harlow (Fania all Stars) at Paradiso for Proyecto por Venezuela.
Composed, recorded, mixed and produced his first work for Spanish dance, a 20 minutes piece for a 6 dancers ballet based on two poems from his mother Pilar Llorens (Pastora Martos), one of the most achieving and succeeding personalities in the dance world in Spain, as a dancer, writer and as a historian
He performed during 4 weeks in a theater tour through Holland named “From Cuba to Colombia” with the Jaime Rodriguez Music Ensemble with Ramon Valle, Liber Torriente from Cuba and many others.
Toured in Switzerland, Spain and Holland with Fra-Fra sound
He wrote and recorded his second original composition for Spanish dance, a 5 minutes piece for the solo dancer Gala Vivancos.
Tour in Italy, Switzeland, Germany, playing with Saskia Laroo at several festivals including Montreux again, etc…
Played as support act in Sofia, Bulgaria for Courtney Pine.
Recorded as a guest soloist for Gerardo Rosales Latin Band “El Venezolano” also performing at in the presentation at the Bimhuis.
Also recorded for Jose Luis Lopretti’s C.D. "La Rambla" (candombe, chacarera, etc..).
Played at his home town Barcelona during one week at La Boite with The Thijs van Leer Band, with: Mike del Ferro, Stefan Lievestro, Hans van Oosterhout, being now a steady member of the band. Played at the end of the year also with the Thijs van Leer Band at the Ritz Hotel in an event for the Mayor of the city.
He played the North Sea Jazz Festival together with Hans Dulfer and Saskia Laroo and after playing in France, he played the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

He recorded on Deborah Carter’s solo C.D. “Scuse me” with Benjamin Herman, Mike del Ferro. Also Jay-Tee Teterissa solo C.D. “Play da Bass” together with Mike Stern, David Garibaldi, Alain Caron, Candy Dulfer, etc...
Playing and being a member of the Saskia Laroo Band for the past two years, he joined, at the Hamara Festival in Beirut, for a T.V. satellite live performance with: Thijs van Leer & the Mike del Ferro Trio (Stefan Lievestro, Steve Altenberg).
He also played in the Sofia Jazz Festival in Bulgaria as a opening act for the Yellow Jackets.
Played at The National Theater of Sarajevo during two weeks and a Theater tour in Holland with G.E.B. project, with musicians from: Coopertest and Sinister Project.
1994 Moved to Amsterdam and toured Spain with Jaco Abel & the Mediterranean Funk Band with: Michel Borstlap (Winer T. Monk award ‘96), Tom Beek, Manuel Hugas, Ton Dijkman.
He was working and touring in Europe as a steady member of the Brazilian-Jazz group “Bacan” with Lilian Viera (Zuco 103).
During living in the USA he played, recorded and toured with: Jim Coil (L.A. Express), Mark Kardenas (Prince & the Time), etc...
Back in Barcelona he combined studio work and teaching at Taller de Musics, Badalona Modern Conservatory of Music, etc... Also playing with different formations like: Traditional Tourists, Steve de Swart Trio, Julian Vaughan (B.B. King, Johnny Guitar Watson) etc...
The Jaco Abel Trio started in Spain 1993, recording and touring along the country with: Pep Perez Cucurella (Maite Martin, Juan Manuel Cañizares) on Bass and Jeff Ballard (Mike Stern, Danilo Perez, Chick Corea) on drums.
In 1987 Had a 6 months contract backing the Four Tops in Ibiza. Also played with Thijs van Leer, Danny Sahupala, David de Marez etc...
Moved to Madrid, where he joined the Flamenco-Jazz circuit, playing with: Josep Salvador (Alejandro Sanz), Antonio Ramos (Tomatito), Jose Maria Cortina (Ketama) etc...
